How to cultivate tulip in water and how long can it live
、 To prepare a container for water culture of tulip, a container should be prepared first. Because it is a bulbous plant, the seed ball cannot be completely immersed in the water. Therefore, the container must be thin in the middle and thick at the two ends. In this way, the seed ball can be stuck in the middle, and the root can be extended to the bottom to absorb water. Generally, it can be made from a mineral water bottle. After cutting off the upper part of the bottle, it can be put into the bottle upside down, so that it can hold the bulb.
、 In order to ensure the healthy growth of tulip, disinfection should be carried out before hydroponics. The concentration of potassium permanganate solution should be strictly controlled to 600 times of potassium permanganate solution. Soak for 20 seconds and then take it out, do not soak for too long.
、 The bulb of tulip was placed on the container, and the position of bulb disk was observed and recorded. Inject fresh water to ensure that the water level is consistent with the height of bulb disc. If the water is not enough, the bulb will not be able to absorb water. If it is too high, it will soak the bulb and cause it to rot.
、 In order to promote tulip rooting, temperature and humidity should be controlled before water culture. When the seed bulbs are placed in the environment of 5 ℃, the roots will grow after 7-10 days. After the normal maintenance, the temperature between 15-18 ℃, but also to ensure sufficient light, so as not to make it too long.
、 Change water regularly. After the plant takes root, it is necessary to adjust the water level in time, so that two thirds of the root can be soaked in the water, and the rest should be exposed to the air, which helps the plant breathe. It is rich in phosphorus and potassium, and it can promote flowering every day.
